I love teaching music! I have taught for 22 years and have enjoyed using QuaverMusic since 2014. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and our six-year-old twins.
I have taught elementary music in Virginia for 15 years. I have experience teaching preschool through 6th grade, as well as early childhood music and special education.
My name is Katelyn Zimmer and I am the music teacher at Milam Fine Arts Academy in Odessa, Texas. I am starting my 6th year teaching and my 3rd year as a QuaverEd ambassador. When I am not teaching, you can find me out on a disc golf course, pickleball court, or spending time with my two cats.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Katherine has been teaching for 22 years with 18 of those years teaching elementary music in Texas. She has been teaching in Fort Worth ISD for 3 years, using Quaver for the last 2. Katherine particularly enjoys the versatility of activities the accompany each song and how easily adaptable the lessons are to meet the needs of all students.
I have been an EC-5th Elementary Music Educator and Orff Certified going on 14 years.in Hidalgo Co., Texas. I have worked with various resources and curriculum, while having QuaverMusic for 9 years, I am so grateful for the QuaverMusic content, platform, updated resources at no additional cost to our department, informative professional development curriculum trainings, and approachable support team! I enjoy being our District Elementary Music Coordinator, directing our District Choir, producing concerts throughout the year with our campus choir and Orff ensemble, and teaching all our populations group ukulele, recorder, and piano in our piano lab. I am so grateful for this opportunity to support more educators across QuaverEd!
I teach K-5 elementary music, ukulele, and children’s choir in Wyoming. I have also worked to revise the Fine and Performing Arts standards for the state of Wyoming on the standards review and audit committees. I am currently a member of the Connected Arts Network Professional Learning Community, working with other music educators to integrate standards-based strategies in my teaching and better support student growth through social emotional learning and culturally responsive learning practices.
I started teaching with QuaverMusic in 2016 with my 1st-8th grade students throughout several schools in my district. I started my teaching career in 1988 and I must say that QuaverMusic and QuaverEd are THE best in the educational world. The curriculum is teacher friendly and student-centered, plus the Quaver World is fun, engaging, and memorable.
I am a K-5th grade General Music teacher and theatre director in Kenosha. WI. I have a bachelors degree in music education with an emphasis in Choral and General Music. I am one semester away from having my MM in Music Education with a Kodaly background. This is my 10th year teaching and I am a Quaver Nerd!
I’m Alicia Anderle, and I’ve spent the past ten years teaching music in rural Southeast Missouri. I’m deeply passionate about helping students discover the joy of music, as well as students’ own musical talents. I love seeing students’ creativity flourish as we make music together.
Angela Rocca is in her 14th year as a K-5 General Music in Georgia and has earned a Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Music Education, and Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Kennesaw State University and the University of Georgia. She also spent time teaching abroad in South Korea.
Alex has been teaching elementary general music in Racine, WI for 12 years and using Quaver for most of them (as far back as when Quaver was only a box set of DVD’s). He particularly enjoys incorporating contemporary music into his lessons, teaching ukulele and recorder, and producing an all school winter concert and 5th grade musical theatre show every spring. On the weekends he enjoys spending time with family, running, cooking, and playing rhythm guitar in a ska/punk/rock band! He is grateful to be a part of the Quaver family!
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Quaver teacher and have been teaching with QuaverEd since 2010. Teaching elementary vocal music to students in grades one through five as well as fifth grade chorus is my passion.
