Always Growing: Helping Students Cultivate a Growth Mindset
This session will focus on the importance and impact of self-esteem in children inside and outside the classroom. We will look into the different ways low self-esteem may present itself, how having low self-esteem may affect children and their relationships, and different activities that can be implemented in the classroom to give children the confidence booster they may need.
Incorporating CASEL Competencies in the Music Room
The music classroom offers many opportunities for nurturing students’ social and emotional growth. This session will demonstrate how the music classroom is the perfect playground for developing core SEL competencies. Participants will leave the session with three activities to incorporate SEL into their music classroom.
Flexible Lessons for the Whole-School Approach
This session will walk attendees through various flexible instructional resources for a school-wide approach to character building and life skills. Are you new to QuaverHealth•PE or checking out this fantastic new curriculum? We will focus on an overview of the program to familiarize teachers with all it has to offer. Teachers will walk away with a general knowledge of how to start using QuaverHealth•PE.
Going Deeper with QuaverHealth•PE
Continue diving into our new QuaverHealth•PE curriculum. The focus will be on implementing lessons, Resource Manager, and much more! Teachers will leave with a deeper understanding of the Quaver resources to help jump-start the beginning of the school year.
Making Moves with Health Education
This session will focus on strategies for implementing health education! PE teachers will leave with tools to teach health while still meeting all physical activity and PE requirements.
